Who we are

Cattora is a brand of Ascension Hive Inc., a corporation registered in the State of Florida, United States, at 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702. We are responsible for the personal information described here.

Questions, requests, or anything you'd like removed: info@cattora.com.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, email address, delivery and billing address, telephone number, and what you bought. If you tell us about your home or your cats in the questionnaire or the remarks field, we hold that too — it is how your piece gets designed.

When you pay: we do not see or store your card number. Payment is handled by our payment processor, who receives your card details directly. We receive only a confirmation, the amount, and the last few digits.

When you contact us: whatever you send us, and our reply.

When you visit the site: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you looked at, and how you arrived. This is collected through cookies and similar technology — see below.

How we use it

To take and fulfil your order. To design your piece around what you told us. To arrange delivery, which means giving your name, address and telephone number to the carrier. To answer you when you write. To handle returns, faults and warranty claims. To keep proper accounting and tax records, which US law requires us to retain. To detect and prevent fraud. And, if you have asked for them, to send you occasional emails about new pieces — you can stop those at any time using the link in any message.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else handles your information

Our website platform, which hosts the site and stores order records.

Our payment processor, who handles the transaction and holds your card details under their own privacy policy.

Carriers and freight forwarders, who receive the name, address and telephone number needed to deliver your piece.

Our makers and suppliers, who receive the specification for your piece, and — where a piece ships directly to you — the delivery address needed to send it.

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which tell us how the site is used.

Our email provider, for order confirmations and correspondence.

Each of these receives only what it needs, and each is required to protect it.

Where your information goes

We are a US corporation, and our website and payment records are held on servers in the United States and Europe.

Our operations are run from Thailand, so your information is accessed and processed there. Some of our makers and freight partners are in China and receive delivery details in order to ship your piece.

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, this means your information leaves that area. We rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers, and you can ask us for details.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work — keeping your cart, remembering your session, processing your payment. These cannot be switched off.

We also use analytics cookies that tell us how people move through the site. You can accept or decline those when you first visit, change your mind later through our cookie settings, and block cookies in your browser at any time. Declining analytics does not affect your ability to order.

How long we keep it

Order records, invoices and correspondence relating to a purchase: seven years, which is what US tax and accounting rules require.

Enquiries that don't lead to an order: two years.

Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe.

Analytics data: as set by Google's own retention settings.

Your rights

Everyone. Write to info@cattora.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it — except where we are legally required to keep it, such as tax records for a completed sale. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.

If you are in California. You may ask what personal information we have collected, why, and who we shared it with; ask us to delete it; ask us to correct it; and you will not be treated differently for asking. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

If you are in the UK or the EEA. You additionally have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your information in a portable format, and to complain to your data protection authority.

We answer all such requests within 30 days.

Children

Cattora is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

We hold your information on services that encrypt data in transit and at rest, and we limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously — and we never hold your card number, which is the information most worth stealing.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be notified on the site.
